Sudpsuez Loro Piana Limited Edition Magazine N19

$247.00

Covers by Loro Piana. April 2023.

This limited edition is a true collector's item with only 45 copies printed in Record Bale wool, the finest wool in the world.

We like to think of N19 as the Magicians’ issue, on account of a few people featured whose ‘special powers’ are very evident when it comes to interiors. Travel with us to Jacob, Lord Rothschild’s magical paradise on the island of Corfu; journey through the history and architectural splendour of Andalusia, and explore the stunning textiles and landscapes of Bulgaria. Lose yourself in Umberto Pasti’s dream-like house and gardens in Tangier, which, like a living creature, are constantly evolving and following their owner’s vision. Meet Geoffrey Bawa in Sri Lanka where the architect has created a spell-binding “story out of nothing”, and visit maker Deborah Needleman in upstate New York to marvel at her ‘magic wand’ - her hands - carefully weaving strands of willow and rush, creating timeless objects for everyday use.

Sudpsuez Lotusland

$60.00

Words by Marc Appleton

A beautifully crafted volume on the world-renowned gardens of Lotusland—the first such book in more than two decades and the first ever magnificent tribute to this international treasure.

Variously labeled Eden, one of the 100 gardens you must visit before your die, and among the 10 best botanical gardens in the world, Madame Ganna Walska’s Lotusland is magic mixed with paradise in the hills of Montecito, California. Walska, a well-known Polish opera singer and socialite, purchased the estate in 1941 and spent 43 years creating Lotusland. The collections of exotic plants on the 37-acre property are an expression of her penchant for the dramatic, the unexpected, and the whimsical. Home to more than 3,400 types of plants, including at least 35,000 specimens, it is recognized not just for the diversity of its collections, but for the extraordinary design sensibility informing the many one-of-a-kind individual gardens that comprise the whole. As pleasing as its aesthetic and sensorial qualities are, Lotusland is also an important center for scientific research and conservation. A leader in the field of sustainable practices, it is the first botanical garden in the United States to become entirely organic.

Sudpsuez LVMH Limited Edition Magazine N23

$281.00

Limited Edition Box Set

Covers by LVMH Métiers d'Art

The LVMH Métiers d'Art Limited Edition Magazine metal box is a testament to the harmonious blend of artistry and superior craftsmanship. Each of the 23 exclusive boxes is a singular masterpiece, born of dedicated work and passionate commitment to excellence. The creative journey commences with brass plates and beads. Over a three-hour span, the plates are intricately cut using an advanced chemical technique, ensuring precise detailing even in the thinnest layers. These plates are then expertly assembled through a seven-hour process of folding and welding. After an initial polishing, each bead is individually welded with a hydrogen torch in a delicate ten-hour operation using a blend of tin and silver. The pieces are subsequently brushed to achieve a flawless, uniform surface. The entire piece undergoes a silver plating with a 15-micron layer, followed by a chemical oxidation to impart a timeless, aged effect. After a full day of drying in an oven, a final brushing bestows the piece with its definitive finish.

To ensure lasting protection, the box is coated with two layers of satin varnish. The final assembly, which includes the meticulous installation of hinges, logo placement, and finishing nails, takes an additional hour. During its creation, each box transitions through multiple workshops and is handled by at least nine skilled artisans over the course of 27 hours. This collaborative effort underscores the high level of expertise and dedication required to produce these exquisite pieces. The result transcends functionality, emerging as a true work of art and craftsmanship.

Sudpsuez Magazine N11

$115.00

Covers by Loewe. Published in April 2019.

This issue focuses on two different locations: Naples beautifully captured by Antonio Monfreda’s pictures and Patmos seen through the lens of Miguel Flores Vianna. A Mediterranean vibe is a thread not only through the fabrics’ covers but through a story on a flat in Madrid, a house in Marrakesh with its simpler rooms, to name a few. A sort of “Renaissance” where we look at more humble yet quirkier Interiors whose leitmotif isn’t necessarily baroque or lavish but infused with bright colors.

Unfortunately we are not able to guarantee a specific cover at the time of the order.
