Sudpsuez Small Kuznetsov Plates (Set of 2)
$264.00
Description
A pair of highly decorative and beautiful Kuznetsov plates. The Kuznetsov factory, located in Volkhov, Russia, was established in 1889 and was one of several owned by the Kuznetsov family. The factory specialized in producing faience, primarily for the Ottoman and Central Asian markets, where there was significant demand. Their designs, often floral and ikat-inspired, were created to appeal to these regions. After the dissolution of the Soviet Union, these plates, along with textiles and other works, began entering Western markets. The plates are notable for their use of stenciling and spray painting techniques. Today, they have gained popularity as decorative wall pieces in many interiors.

Sudpsuez Fiamma Tablecloth, Yellow, Square
The Fiamma Tablecloth pattern is inspired by an 18th century textile found in Chefchaouen, Morocco's striking blue-washed city in the Rif Mountains. Our love of North Africa informs both the hypnotic Arabesque pattern as well as its bold color palette - available in both yellow and blue. Printed in Italy on 100% linen, this tablecloth echoes the rich history and ornate motifs of decorative arts in the region. We love to layer our Fiamma tablecloth with a contrasting Fiamma napkin pattern for our signature mix and match look.
