Two themes Mongiardino returned to again and again were Marquetry - inlaid wood veneers, and Pietra Dura - inlaid stones. For Cabana, D’Ascoli has created a sumptuous layering of faux bois marquetry and faux marbre pietra dura effects printed on linen and on hand-spun, hand-woven cotton with hand embroidery.

This exclusive Magnetic Midnight tray is a unique statement piece that reflects a modern aesthetic imbued with a love for tradition and craftsmanship. Its bold geometric patterns and vivid colors will add a touch of whimsy to any setting. Its sturdy wire structure is crafted by a family of lamp makers in Bogota, and then hand-woven with Iraca palm by a community of artisans in the north Atlantic region of Colombia. Each tray is a labor of love, taking almost two weeks to create.
